Zero Access to Emails

Mailbin's underlying architecure is designed to encrypt your raw emails in a way that makes them inaccessible to us. In other words, we are not able to decrypt the content of your raw emails without your permission. The raw emails are encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm paired with the RSA algorithm. The asociated private key, the key used for decryption, is protected by your password. Hence, the raw emails can only be decrypted and accessed by you. However, this also means that if you forget your password, we cannot recover your data.
